Bob Riha, Jr. is a freelance photojournalist based in Long Beach, California with a photojournalism career spanning over three decades. Since 1983, he has been a freelance/contract photographer with USA Today doing assignments in Southern California and Western United States and is a contributing photographer with WireImage/Getty Images.
A veteran of over 2,175 photo assignments for USA Today, he is experienced in studio lighting, digital shooting, editing and transmitting images on deadline for publication. He is a graduate of the video shooting/editing Platypus Workshop and has produced numerous videos while on assignment for publication.
Corporate and Special Event assignments take him coast-to-coast for public relation agencies and corporations. Corporate images (from planned events) can be edited and transmitted on-site to media organizations including: The Associated Press, Reuters, Agency France-Presse, WireImage/Getty Images, Bloomberg News, Canadian Press and European Press Photo Agency. Images have also been contributed to United Press International, U.S. News & World Report, TIME, People Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, Gannett News Service and Long Beach (CA) Press Telegram.
